Barr Akeem Agbaje Condoles Olubadan, Council over Oloye Lekan Alabi’s Passing

Barrister Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for the 2027 election, has expressed his condolences to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, the Olubadan-in-Council, and the Oyo State Government over the passing of Oloye Lekan Alabi, the Abese Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a condolence message, Barr Agbaje described the late Oloye Alabi as a respected journalist, public servant, and traditional title holder whose life reflected a long commitment to journalism, public communication, and the development of Ibadanland and Oyo State.
“Alhaji Lekan Alabi lived a life of service across journalism, public administration, and the traditional institution. His passing is a loss to Ibadanland, Oyo State, and the media community. We will remember him for his professionalism, experience, and contributions to public communication and the development of our society.
Agbaje prayed that Almighty Allah would forgive Oloye Lekan Alabi’s shortcomings, grant the veteran journalist Al-Jannatul Firdaus, and give his family, colleagues, associates, and the people of Ibadanland the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.
