BEEMC, Family Mourn Alhaja Tawakalitu Siyanbade at 65

The Bodija Estates and Environs Muslim Community has announced the death of Alhaja Tawakalitu Abosede Siyanbade, who passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2026, at the age of 65, dailynewsng.com.ng reported.
Born on August 9, 1960, the late Alhaja Siyanbade was the wife of Alhaji Murisiku Abidemi Siyanbade, One of members of Trustees and former chairman of the Bodija Estates and Environs Muslim Community.
In a statement issued by BEEMC, the organisation quoted the Qur’anic verse: “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un – To Allah we belong and unto Him is our final return.”

The Janaazah (funeral prayer) was led by MUSWEN’s Executive Secretary, Prof. Lateef ‘Wole Abbas, and was held today at the Bodija Estates and Environs Muslim Community Islamic Center, opposite the Oyo State Housing Corporation, Bodija Estate, Ibadan.

The Burial was followed immediately at Ultimate Rest Home, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Boluwaji, Ibadan.
The statement concluded with prayers, citing the saying of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ: “Indeed the eyes shed tears and the heart grieves, but we do not say except what pleases our Lord.” It prayed Allah to forgive her shortcomings, have mercy on her, and grant her Al-Jannatul Firdaus.
