BIRTHDAY: Amb Florence Ajimobi Celebrates “Bosom Friend”, Margaret ‘Kemi Kusimo, as Septuagenarian Marks 70

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria and former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, has marked the 70th birthday of her “bosom friend and sister”, Chief (Mrs) Margaret Oluwakemi Kusimo.

In a message celebrating the milestone, Ajimobi said she joined family and friends with “so much joy and gratitude,” describing the occasion as more than the number of years God has blessed Mrs Kusimo with.

Ajimobi noted that the celebration reflects the “beautiful life” Kusimo has lived and the “countless lives” impacted through her kindness, love, wisdom, and generosity.

Ajimobi also described her relationship with Kusimo as enduring, adding that she has been “much more than a friend, serving as a sister, confidante, and source of encouragement.

Recalling shared memories, Ajimobi said the laughter, moments of celebration, and meaningful life seasons have reinforced the value of genuine friendship, which she called “one of God’s greatest gifts.”

According to the message, Kusimo’s new decade is expected to bring greater peace, sound health, renewed strength, divine favour, and “overflowing joy.” Ajimobi prayed that the Lord would continue to order her steps, crown her efforts with success, and bless her home with love and happiness.

She concluded by wishing Kusimo long life, continuous joy, and a life that remains a “shining reflection” of God’s goodness and faithfulness.
