Prof Adeolu Akande’s distinguished record as former Chief of Staff to the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi and former Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) speaks volumes about his commitment, intellect, and invaluable contributions to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria. His years of selfless service continue to inspire many who believe in purposeful leadership and good governance.
As you celebrate this special day, I join your family, friends, political associates, and numerous admirers in thanking God for your impactful life while praying that He grants you many more years in excellent health, greater wisdom, renewed strength, and abundant blessings.
Birthdays also provide an opportunity for reflection. They remind us that while political ambitions may differ, our shared commitment to the progress of our people should always unite us. The friendship and political camaraderie we built many years ago during your service as Chief of Staff in the administration of our dearly departed leader, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, remain memories worth preserving.
Although the contest for the Oyo North Senatorial ticket brought us into a healthy democratic competition, I believe that no political contest should be greater than the unity of our progressive family. Our people deserve leaders who can rise above differences and work together for the common good.
