“CONDOLENCE VISIT”: Alli Condemns Killing of APC Member, Pledges Support for Pregnant Widow

Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has condemned the reported killing of a party member, popularly known as Khalid Adeyemo (aka Paul Moor), describing the incident as a painful and unacceptable loss.
Alli, who represents Oyo South Senatorial District, gave the assurance during a condolence visit to the deceased’s family in Ward 06, Ibadan South-West Local Government Area, on Monday.

Moor was reportedly killed last Friday in an incident involving hoodlums associated with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
Accompanied by other party leaders, Alli expressed deep sorrow over the death, describing it as a tragic loss of a young man whose life held a great promise.

Alli called for justice, urging security agencies to intensify efforts to apprehend the suspected killer(s) and ensure that anyone found culpable is brought to justice.
The senator stressed the need for the circumstances surrounding the killing to be thoroughly investigated, saying the bereaved family deserves justice and reassurance that the matter would not be swept under the carpet.
In a show of solidarity, Alli provided financial assistance to the deceased’s pregnant wife and mother, while pledging continued support for the widow.
Alli also assured the family that he would work towards ensuring that the widow receives adequate care and support after childbirth.
The APC Chairman in Oyo State, Chief Moses Adeyemo, urged the bereaved family to draw strength from their faith and find comfort despite the painful circumstances surrounding their loss.
Adeyemo prayed God to comfort the family, strengthen them to endure the tragedy and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
