From Infrastructure to Empowerment: Akintunde Lists Gains In Oyo Central

The Nigeria We Dream Of Will Be Built by the Choices We Make Today

Every generation inherits challenges, but it also inherits the opportunity to change the course of history. The Nigeria we desire will not emerge overnight. It will be built through deliberate investments in education, infrastructure, healthcare, economic empowerment, and security.

In Oyo Central Senatorial District, we have chosen to invest in people. Across our communities, classroom blocks have been constructed and schools are renovated, solar-powered boreholes have been provided to improve access to clean water, solar-powered streetlights have enhanced safety, ICT centres have expanded digital opportunities, and interventions have strengthened healthcare facilities. These are practical steps toward improving the quality of life for our people.

Beyond infrastructures, economic empowerment remains essential. The recent distribution of grants to traders across the eleven local government areas of Oyo Central reflects a commitment to supporting small businesses, encouraging enterprise, and helping families build sustainable livelihoods. When local businesses grow, communities prosper.

These efforts complement the broader vision of the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. While reforms often require patience and resilience, their ultimate purpose is to build a stronger economy, create opportunities for young people, attract investment, and secure a better future for every Nigerian.

The journey is far from over, and there is still much work ahead. But history teaches us that great nations are built by citizens who refuse to surrender hope and by leaders who remain committed to service.

The Nigeria we dream of will not be inherited. It will be built by the choices we make today.

May God continue to bless Oyo Central Senatorial District, Oyo State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
