IBARAPA: APC Excos Warn Against Imposition of “Hon Muraina Ajibola Saubana” As Candidate, Write Omodewu, Party Leaders.

Leadership of the wards’ executives of the All Progressives Congress APC, in Ibarapa North Local Government Area A iOyo State, headquartered in Ayete, has written the state leadership of the party, under the watch of Honourable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, to show their total displeasure and outright rejection of the alleged imposition of Hon. Muraina Ajibola Saubana as APC standard bearer of Ibarapa Central and North Federal Constituency, come 2023.

This is contained in a letter tittled,”Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency Ticket: Hon. Muraina Ajibola Saubana Deflection And Intrusion”, signed by the ward chairmen in Ibarapa North and made available to the newsmen, in Ayete.

The letter reads thus,“We, the Ward Chairmen of All Progressive Congress (APC.) of Ibarapa North Local Government arms of Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, have resolved to officially inform you that the deflection of the Hon. Muraina Ajibola Saubana from PDP to APC is far from adding value to our noble party in this constituency.

It continued,“It is equally important to note that Hon. Muraina Ajibola Saubana’s reign is no longer relevant in our Federal Constituency and he has been rebuked by all and sundry, the reason he lost his structure in PDP before he was pushed aside.

“Apart from his lack-lustre performance in the fast 12 years at the National Assembly, Hon. Muraina Ajibola Saubana has stepped on toes of
Constituents with his destructive tendencies.
In the name of Peace and peaceful co-existenceacross our Federal Constituency, Zoning arrangement has been adopted for fair sharing, equity and togetherness. Hon. Muraina Ajibola Saubana – a sitting member of House of Representatives is from Ibarapa Central Local Government which necessitated the zoning of 2023 slot to Ibarapa North Local Government.
It has come to our notice that Oyo State APC leadership throwing her support behind Hon. Muraina A. Saubana to join race again against the zoning arrangement.

“It is also expedient to note that the overrated Hon. Muraina Ajibola Saubana lost at all the 7 Wards in his home town at the last general election to affirm his rejection. The votes that brought him into office was cast In Ibarapa North Local Government and he has betrayed the trust reposed in him which will be devastating if featured at any election now. On this note, we are appealing to your good office to dissociate yourself from supporting him and to respect the simple zoning arrangement that has been in practice over years. Featuring Hon. Murama In the next general election is nothing but insubordination and indecency which affect the good name the party is known for.
