Makinde Has Never Won an Election on Merit — Hon Shola Abegunde Knocks Oyo Governor
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Honourable Shola Abegunde has carpeted Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, alleging that the governor has never won an election purely on merit throughout his political career.
Abegunde also accused the Makinde-led administration of allegedly selling off government properties to political cronies, including BCOS lands.
His allegations raise serious questions such as,”Who owns the government properties allegedly sold or allocated? Who authorised the transactions? How much was generated? And where is the money? Is this accountability or political propaganda?
One thing is certain: these allegations are bound to set Oyo politics on fire.
Hon. Shola Abegunde, APC Chieftain lamented,”Do you agree with him or is this just another political attack ahead of 2027?
