OLUYOLE: APC Leaders Mobilise Members as Party Gains New PDP Defectors in Ward 7

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 7, Oluyole Local Government Area of Oyo State, has recorded a significant boost as Mr Kolawole Azeez, aka Fosun, officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the ruling party.

Speaking during the ward meeting, the Ward 7 Chairman, Hon. Kamorudeen Orilonise, expressed deep appreciation to party leaders and members for their unwavering support and commitment. He charged members to remain steadfast and work collectively towards the success of the APC in the forthcoming general elections.

The chairman also used the opportunity to update members on the ongoing party membership registration exercise, urging both old and new members to take advantage of the process to strengthen the party’s structure at the grassroots.

In his remarks, a party leader, Hon. Femi Abioye, admonished the newly inaugurated executives to cooperate with one another and see their emergence as a call to service. He encouraged members to remain dedicated, committed, and focused on the party’s collective goals.

Speaking of his defection, Fosun attributed his decision to the impactful leadership and developmental strides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which inspired his confidence in the APC. He pledged his full support and commitment to mobilising for the party’s victory in the forthcoming elections.

The Ward Chairman, Hon. Orilonise, warmly received the defector into the party, assuring him of equal opportunities and inclusion in the party’s activities.
