Osun Guber Poll: Senator Yunus Akintunde Tips AMBO for Victory
Senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, has thrown his weight behind the APC governorship candidate in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, popularly known as “AMBO”, ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.
In a statement issued on Friday, Akintunde said the APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu presents a unique opportunity for the South-West to advance collectively, and called on Osun voters not to be left behind.
“The APC’s Renewed Hope Agenda under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu offers the South-West an opportunity to move forward together. Osun must not be left behind,” the senator stated.
“Let the people of Osun set the pace for other states, including Oyo, to emulate in building a more progressive South-West.”
Sen. Akintunde described Oyebamiji as a seasoned financial expert and experienced banker with an Africanist outlook and deep love for his people.
“Ambo is a seasoned financial expert, experienced banker, and an Africanist by outlook with the love of his people. His experience, competence, and integrity make him a strong choice for Osun State,” he said.
The lawmaker urged residents of Osun to come out en masse to vote for the APC candidate.
“Tomorrow Saturday, let’s support and vote for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji and set the pace for a progressive South-West,” Akintunde added.
