Oyo 2027: Adelabu Appreciates APC Leaders, Artisans, Associations, Others for Support at Guber Declaration
The immediate past Minister of Power and APC governorship aspirant, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed appreciation to the people of Oyo State for their support during his official declaration of intent to contest the 2027 governorship election.
In a statement issued by his media aide, Comrade Femi Awogboro, Adelabu thanked party leaders, artisans, Traders Association, Farmers , religious and community leaders, Youth and students associations, and APC members across the state’s 33 local government areas for turning out in large numbers to make the event a success.
According to the statement, the turnout and solidarity shown were unprecedented in the state’s political history.
“Oloye Adelabu is overwhelmed by the support he has received since resigning as Minister of Power to pursue the APC governorship ticket in Oyo State,” Awogboro said.
According to Awogboro, Adelabu said he remained committed to repositioning Oyo State and restoring its pace-setting status for the advancement of the state and the country at large.
He also thanked President Bola Tinubu for his support and pledged his unalloyed commitment to the President’s second-term ambition.
Adelabu called on APC leaders and members across the 33 local governments to support him in the party’s direct primary election. He insisted he will never disappoint them.
