Oyo 2027: Akintunde in attendance as APC nat’l chairman commissions ‘Party Campaign Office’ • Senator donates vehicles to ‘support group’

Dr Yunus Abiodun Akintunde, senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, earlier on Thursday joined other leaders and stakeholders of Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), at the commissioning of the Oyo State APC Campaign Office.
The campaign council office was commissioned by the National Chairman of the APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, as the party intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections.
According to the senator, the campaign office is expected to serve as a central coordination and mobilisation hub for the state chapter, offering a platform for planning, stakeholder engagement, grassroots mobilisation, and the smooth coordination of campaign activities across Oyo State.
Akintunde added that the office will further strengthen communication and collaboration among party leaders, candidates, members, supporters, and grassroots structures to ensure that all campaign activities are properly aligned ahead of the 2027 elections.

Akintunde also hinted he redeemed his pledge at the occasion by donating five brand-new Toyota Sienna buses to the Oyo State City Boys Movement, describing it as part of his commitment to support APC structures and enhance grassroots mobilisation throughout the state.
Akintunde urged members of the party to remain steadfast, expressing confidence that with renewed commitment and collective determination, the APC is well-positioned for a successful 2027 electoral season.
