The traders described Senator Alli as a politician with the experience and understanding required to provide purposeful leadership and create an enabling environment for businesses and economic activities to thrive across the state.

They particularly emphasised the importance of a government that would prioritise the welfare of traders, artisans, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders in the informal sector, noting that their contributions remain crucial to the economic growth of Oyo State.
