Oyo 2027: ‘Relax’ Coordinator,”Socrates”, Congratulates Ogunbode as APC Deputy Campaign DG, Hails Asimiyu, Obisesan, Raji’s Appointments as ADG’s
Honourable Monsuru Akintunde Adeyemo (Socrates), Coordinator of the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Oyo State chapter and Public Relations Officer (PRO) for the Forum of the former Council Vice Chairmen in the state (G-68), has congratulated the newly appointed politicians into the campaign council of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, come 2027.
The former leader of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) congratulated Hon. Sola Ogunbode as Deputy Director-General to support the Director-General in coordinating campaign activities across the state.
The influential pan-African activist and pro-people politician also congratulated Barrister ‘Lowo Obisesan as Assistant Director-General for Oyo South, Rt. Hon. Asimiyu Alarape as Assistant Director-General for Oyo Central and Hon. Rasaq Raji as Assistant Director-General for Oyo North Senatorial District.
The appointments followed the earlier appointment of Asiwaju Yemi Aderibigbe as the Director-General of the Campaign Organisation.
In his congratulatory message, the communications expert lauded Senator Alli for what he described as the APC candidate’s commitment to an inclusive and result-oriented campaign structure.
The former Ibadan North Federal Constituency House of Representatives aspirant enthused that the astute politicians’ appointments into the campaign organisation will strengthen Oyo APC’s preparations for the 2027 governorship election and ensure APC’s landslide victory.
The former vice chairman of the Aare Latosa Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in the state also maintained that the appointments will deepen grassroots mobilisation, enhance coordination across the three senatorial districts and reinforce the campaign’s readiness ahead of the 2027 governorship election in the state.
Socrates expressed confidence that the appointees would bring their wealth of political experience, leadership capacity and commitment to achieving victory for the APC in the forthcoming governorship election and other electoral outings.
Raji is a grassroot politician and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC. He hails from Igbeti in Olorunsogo local government area of Oyo state
Ashimiyu, a metallurgical graduate was the speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly between 1999 – 2003 and Minority Leader, between 2019 – 2023. He was also a Special Adviser during the administration of Late Former Governor Adebayo Alao-Akala.
Obisesan, a lawyer and Ibadan senior chief, was Commissioner for Environment in the administration of Late Former Governor Abiola Ajimobi. He is the founder of Black & White law chamber.
The APC chieftain reaffirmed Oyo RTIFN movement’s unwavering support for Senator Alli’s governorship ambition and other APC candidates, expressing optimism that the party would remain united and focused in its quest to win all its electoral contests at the polls.
