Oyo APC governorship running mate is a blessing to Ogbomoso land; we’re proud of Adedeji’s – G-68 coordinator, ‘AGBA-DEMO’, Hails Hon Adesoji Adedeji ‘SOJ’

Chief Olawale Ademola (AGBA-DEMO), Chairman of the Forum of Former Council Vice Chairmen in Oyo State (G-68) and Renewed Hope Ambassador for Ogbomoso North Local Government Area, has described Oyo APC governorship running mate, Honourable Michael Adesoji Adedeji, as a blessing to Ogbomoso land and Oyo State as a whole.

Speaking recently on a radio programme, in praise of the candidate’s profile, Agba-Demo said Adedeji’s nomination as running mate reflects the “family values” of selfless service and pro-people leadership, qualities he said have long distinguished the Adesoji Adedeji’s pedigree in Ogbomoso and beyond.

Agba-Demo noted that Ogbomoso land is fundamentally one, emphasising that the local government structures across the area – Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Ogo-Oluwa, Surulere and Oriire – still remain linked by history and unity. So, the unity and progress in Ogbomoso must be our priority.

According to Agba-Demo, Adedeji’s roots from Ogo-Oluwa Local Government place him firmly within the larger Ogbomoso identity, adding that the running mate has “proven” leadership qualities, statesmanship and a record of impactful service.

Agba-Demo cited examples of public-spirited performance among accomplished sons of Ogbomoso, including Dr Zaccheus Adesoji Adedeji, Chairman of the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), and Dr Sunday Akin Dare, a presidential spokesperson, while describing Hon. Adesoji Adedeji as the younger brother in the same lineage of “organic leadership” and intellectual capacity.

Agba-Demo also argued that Hon. Adesoji Adedeji is not a political novice, describing him as a tested and trusted leader who has previously sought elective office as a federal representative candidate in the Surulere/Ogo-Oluwa Federal Constituency and who is “an experienced politician and a professional in politics”.

Building his case on governance dividends, Agba-Demo referenced federal intervention in road projects associated with Dr Zaccheus Adedeji’s facilitation, claiming this includes developments across Ogbomoso communities, from Arinkinkin to Gambari, and extending to Eye-nkorin, while adding that further road projects were supported by the federal government through Hon. Zaccheus Adedeji’s efforts and the influence of Chief Sunday Dare.

While submitting, Agba-Demo expressed confidence that voters in Ogbomoso land and across Oyo State will reward the APC team, stressing that the unity of the people and the leadership quality of the running mate position the APC flagbearers for victory. He therefore urged supporters to work for Senator Sharafadeen Alli and Hon. Adesoji Adedeji, saying, “By His Grace, the victory shall be the portion of our Oyo APC gubernatorial candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Alli and his running mate, Hon. Adesoji Adedeji, such as all our other candidates at all strata,” he submitted.
