Oyo Guber 2027: Hon Oladiran Alabi Calls for Unity, Urges ‘APC Bigwigs’ to Prioritise Collective Interests

Hon. Oladiran Alabi, a senior chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has urged party leaders, bigwigs and stakeholders to reject disunity and unite around a common purpose of recording a landslide victory as the party prepares for the 2027 general elections.

Alabi’s appeal follows recent media reports suggesting that consensus candidates have been selected for governorship contests in Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo. He noted that people should calm down, as the reports offered no clear basis for the alleged selections, and he stressed that speculation must not undermine internal cohesion.

Alabi warned against squandering years of joint effort and urged party chieftains to protect the APC’s prospects of reclaiming Agodi Government House in 2027. “The people united can never be defeated,” Alabi said, emphasising that unity is essential to realising the party’s goals.

Alabi also called on party stalwarts to prioritise the collective objective of dislodging the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state and delivering a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection bid come 2027.

Addressing aspirants, Alabi reaffirmed confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and the integrity of Oyo APC Chairman, Chief Moses Alake-Adeyemo, assuring that all eligible party members will have equal opportunity to contest and reap the fruits of their efforts.
