Oyo Guber 2027: Pacesetter Peace Team Hails Senator Alli over Unveiling of Pro-people Manifesto “My Pact”
The leadership of the Pacesetter Peace Team (PPT) under the chairmanship of Barrister Ademola Adeniji has commended the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District and Oyo APC Guber Candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli, over the unveiling of his 2027 governorship ambition manifesto, tagged,”My Pact.”
In a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the PPT and former PRO of the progressive party in the state, Hon. Dauda Kolawole, the group described the unveiling as a bold, visionary and people-centred step that demonstrates Senator Alli’s readiness, capacity and sincerity to lead Oyo State to a new era of peace, progress and prosperity.
According to the PPT, “My Pact” is not just a campaign document, but a solemn covenant with the people of Oyo State, a pact built on accountability, inclusive governance, security, youth empowerment, economic revival, quality education, accessible healthcare, and infrastructural renewal.
The Pacesetter Peace Team noted that Senator Alli’s track record as a former Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), former Chief of Staff (CoS) to the State Government, former Chairman of Odu’a Investment Company, and now a performing Senator, speaks volumes of his administrative competence, humility and commitment to public service.
“Senator Alli is not coming with empty promises. He is coming with experience, character, and a clear blueprint. ‘My Pact’ reflects his deep understanding of the needs of our people and his resolve to govern with transparency and compassion,” the statement read.
The group also reacted to critics of the Senator, describing their attacks as unfounded, mischievous and driven by fear of Alli’s rising acceptability across the 33 local government areas of the state.
“Those criticising Senator Alli are only jittery because the people have already made up their minds. Instead of engaging in constructive debate on ideas and policies, they have resorted to cheap blackmail and propaganda. Oyo State people are wiser and can no longer be deceived by noise makers,” the group knocked critics.
The Pacesetter Peace Team called on all lovers of peace, progress and good governance in Oyo State to rally round Senator Alli and his “My Pact” agenda, stressing that the state needs a leader who will unite, not divide, and build, not destroy.
The group reaffirmed its total support for Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli’s 2027 governorship ambition and pledged to continue to mobilise grassroots support for the actualisation of the project and emergence of all APC candidates from top to bottom.
