Oyo North 2027: Ogunesan Deepens Stakeholder Engagement, Seeks Support As APC Senatorial Candidate’s Thank-You Tour Reaches Oriire LGA

The Oyo North APC Senatorial Candidate, Mrs Hannah Olawumi Ogunesan (HOO), MFR, has continued her grassroots engagement and appreciation tour across the senatorial district, reaffirming her commitment to inclusive leadership, unity, and meaningful representation.

As part of the ongoing consultation and thank you tour, Ogunesan visited Oriire Local Government Area, where she engaged with party leaders, stakeholders, members, and community representatives in a warm and constructive atmosphere.

More importantly, Ogunesan used the opportunity to once again commiserate with the people following the recent abduction of their students and teachers, while expressing gratitude for their safe rescue.

Ogunesan also used the occasion to appreciate the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his continued efforts and commitment towards making Nigeria a safer place for all.

During her interaction with APC leaders and members, Ogunesan expressed her profound appreciation for their steadfast loyalty, encouragement, and unwavering support. She acknowledged the sacrifices of party members and emphasised that their commitment remains a vital strength behind the party’s continued growth and success.

The senatorial candidate also paid visits to the Oriire Muslim Community and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) leadership, seeking their prayers, goodwill, guidance, and support. She reiterated that the development of the people must remain a collective responsibility that transcends religious and social boundaries.

Ogunesan expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the people of Oriire Local Government for the overwhelming reception accorded her throughout the visit. She described the warm welcome as a strong indication of the people’s confidence in the APC and their desire for continued progress, development, and effective representation.

In keeping with her tradition of paying respect to traditional institutions during her visits to local government areas, Ogunesan also paid a courtesy visit to the palace of His Royal Majesty, the Onisapa of Isapa, Oba Bolarinwa Ezekiel Olajide I. During the visit, she sought the monarch’s blessings, prayers, wisdom, and support for her political journey and the collective aspirations of the people.

Ogunesan reaffirmed that she does not take the confidence reposed in her by the people for granted. She promised to remain accessible, responsive, and committed to issues that directly affect the lives and livelihoods of the people, stressing that her aspiration is rooted in service rather than personal ambition.

Ogunesan also called on the people to support the re-election of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the foundation of the Renewed Hope Agenda has been laid and that Nigerians are beginning to witness its impact. She urged the electorate to sustain the administration’s reform and development efforts by voting massively for the APC.

Ogunesan further solicited the support and votes of the people for herself as the Oyo North Senatorial Candidate, as well as Hon. Olamiju Akala, the APC candidate for the constituency; Senator Sarafadeen Alli as the governorship candidate; his running mate, Hon. Adesoji Adedeji; and Hon. Bamigboye Jacob Abidoye, the Assembly candidate among other APC candidates across the state.

Ogunesan emphasised that a strong and united APC would provide the platform for continuity, effective governance, economic opportunities, improved infrastructure, youth empowerment, and better representation at all levels.

With renewed confidence, Ogunesan expressed optimism that the collective support of the people would translate into victory for all APC candidates at the forthcoming elections. She assured the people that such victory would strengthen the party’s capacity to deliver greater development, responsive representation, and broader opportunities for the people of Oyo North, Oyo State, and Nigeria.

Ogunesan thanked the people of Oriire LGA for their hospitality and solidarity, assuring the residents that the relationship between her and the people would continue to grow beyond the election season, with their interests remaining at the heart of her political engagement and inclusive representation.
