A leading 2027 Oyo South senatorial aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Ikolaba Olubadan of Ibadan Land, Chief Wasiu Ajimobi has today picked up the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination and expression of interest forms in Abuja.
On the sidelines of picking up the forms in Abuja, the successful business tycoon, Chief Ajimobi appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for giving every card-carrying and aspiring member of APC equal opportunity to obtain expression of interest and nomination forms and as well participate in the party primaries of APC.
The renowned grassroots politician, Ajimobi thanked party leaders, members and good citizens of Oyo South and promised pro-people leadership and quality representation.
Chief Ajimobi, former Honourable-elect of the Oyo State House of Assembly (1997) on the platform of the defunct United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP), emphasised that his aspiration to represent the constituents of Oyo South in the Red Chamber is premised on his pro-people orientation and selfless service. “My philosophy remains people, people and people. By God’s grace, I will serve Oyo South meritoriously, and I will never let you down.” He submitted.
While canvassing support for President Tinubu, Chief Ajimobi rallied people in Oyo South and across the country for Mr President’s re-election bid come 2027.
