PHOTOS: Families, Friends, Associates Bid Farewell to Ex-Oyo SSG, Alhaji Akin Olajide

The family, friends and political associates have mourned the death of Alhaji Waheed Akin Olajide, a former Secretary to the Government of Oyo State (SSG) under the administration of former Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
Olajide, former Chief Executive of the University Press PLC, died on Tuesday, August 25, following a brief illness.
Olajide’s Janazah prayer was conducted at 11:00 a.m at the Muslim Association of Nigeria (MAN), Centre, Joyce B, Oke-Bola, Ibadan, on Wednesday.
His remains were laid to rest at the MAN Macbara Centre, Osengere, along Asejire, Ibadan
People in attendance were Oyo APC State Working Committee ed by Chief Moses Alake-Adeyemo, representatives of the Oyo State Muslim Community; officials of the National Council of Muslim Youth Organization (NACOMYO); along with politicians, family members, well-wishers and several others.
