The State Working Committee of the Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Oyo State Chapter, has paid a courtesy visit to an influential politician and the convener of the Oyo APC Peace Advocates, Prince Niran Adeyoju, on Wednesday, April 29, at Aviation Hall, SDM Tavern, Ibadan.

The movement led by the State Coordinator, Hon. Monsuru Akintunde Adeyemo (Socrates) was received with a warm reception by the business mogul.

In his welcome address, Hon. Adeyemo described Prince Adeyoju as a sage, a pro-people leader who has contributed to “the stability and progress of our great party in the party-setter state”.

In his remarks, Adeyoju expressed his pleasure for the visit, commending the executives of Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) in the state for the honour and respect accorded to him.

Adeyoju emphasised his confidence in the leadership of Oyo RTIFN led by Adeyemo as a personality who has a proven track record in strategic leadership, operational transformation, and project delivery and lauded him as a helmsman who will put the welfare and benefits of all members of the RTIFN across the state at the centre stage of its leadership. 

Adeyoju charged the executives not to relax since work for the re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has just begun.

Adeyoju described the Oyo State Chapter of Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria as a pro-people movement which impacts span on multiple sectors of governance and politics, “especially as a branch of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC)”.

Adeyoju continued, “President Tinubu’s emergence is to stabilise the economy, improve the standard of living for the people, and strengthen other sectors of the economy, but there are some elements behind the scenes who are sabotaging the efforts of the President for their own selfish interest*. He prayed that Tinubu’s administration would triumph over them.

“The president’s plan is to ensure that at least two major refineries are working perfectly, which will boost the economy to the extent that PMS will be sold at a cheaper price in the country, but the obstacles are dwindling the positive effect of the plan. Meanwhile, as a strategic and courageous leader, the president is not relenting so that the burden being put on our foreign reserves will no longer be there and Nigeria will be operating from the credit nation, not otherwise. Unfortunately there are what are called rational expectations and the crowding-out effect in the economy.

“When the government is formulating a policy to make things better, some people are hiding somewhere exploring the crowding-out effect for their own benefits so that the policy won’t be able to achieve what is meant for it, but relax, Tinubu will fix Nigeria,” he assured.

The frontline support group for the re-election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Oyo RTIFN, unveiled and presented the souvenirs of Relax! Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria and handed them to Prince Adeyoju.

In attendance were Hon. Mrs Abigail Gbolasire, Ph.D. (Women Leader); Elder David Oluokun (Treasurer); Comrade Adeyemo Ibrahim (Directorate, Social Media); Comrade Ojo Oluwasegun (Directorate, Town Hall); Otunba Femi Awogboro (Publicity Secretary); Mr James Ademola Daniel (Videographer); and Hon. Afeez Bello Mabinuori (Deputy Publicity Secretary).

Others who represented different strata of the leadership are Comrade Yusuf Bolade Habeeb, Comrade Akinola Hammed, Mrs Adebayo Ashiat, Comrade Fagbemi Kabir, Elder Bello Lawal Adewale, Comrade Abdullahi Ayodeji, Comrade Ogungbenro Johnson, and other stalwarts.
