In a renewed effort to strengthen the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, the Oyo State APC Youth Leadership hosted the party’s Deputy Governorship Candidate, Honourable Adesoji Adedeji (SOJ), at the APC State Secretariat, Oke-Ado in Ibadan.

The meeting, convened by the Oyo State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Olalekan Glory, alongside the Deputy State Youth Leader, brought together the 33 Local Government Youth Leaders and three Senatorial Youth Leaders across the state.

Speaking at the meeting, Hon. Adesoji Adedeji, who is also a young political leader, assured the youth of his readiness to work closely with them and ensure that their interests remain an important part of the party’s political agenda.

He stressed that his concern for the future of young people in Oyo State goes beyond party lines, noting that youths across the state deserve opportunities to participate meaningfully in governance, leadership, and development.

The Deputy Governorship Candidate called on APC youths across the 33 local government areas to remain united, organised, and committed to grassroots mobilisation. He urged young people to take an active interest in the future of Oyo State and emphasised that youths should be regarded as partners in governance and development rather than merely as campaign mobilisers during elections.

He further called on the youth leadership to work collectively towards the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027, the election of Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli as the next Governor of Oyo State, and the success of all APC candidates across the state. He stressed that unity, organisation, and sustained grassroots engagement would be critical to achieving the party’s objectives.

In his remarks, the Oyo State APC Youth Leader, Hon. Olalekan Glory, thanked the Deputy Governorship Candidate for engaging directly with the youth leadership. He reaffirmed the commitment of the Oyo APC Youth Wing to working with all stakeholders, strengthening unity, and mobilising young people across the 33 local government areas for the party’s success in 2027.
