Chief Barrister Opeyemi Tijani (BOT), an Ibarapa-born legal luminary and the Aare Baamofin of Iganganland, has paid glowing tribute to the late former Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi, on the remembrance of his passing on June 25, 2020.
In a statement released today, Chief Tijani described the late Ajimobi as a prolific politician, visionary leader, and exceptional bridge builder whose contributions to the political and socio-economic development of Oyo State remain indelible.
According to Tijani, Senator Ajimobi demonstrated uncommon leadership acumen throughout his distinguished career in both the private and public sectors. As Governor of Oyo State from 2011 to 2019, he introduced transformative policies that repositioned the state, improved infrastructure, enhanced security, and strengthened governance institutions.
