Senator Akintunde Welcomes APC Nat’l Chairman,”Yilwatda”, to Oyo State, Praises Unity Efforts
Dr Yunus Abiodun Akintunde, senator representing the Oyo Central Senatorial District has welcomed Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement signed by Dr Akintunde, the senator described the APC chairman as a strategic leader whose commitment to party unity and inclusive engagement has, according to him, continued to strengthen the party as it advances the “Renewed Hope Agenda” of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
Akintunde said he was confident that Yilwatda’s experience, integrity, and “innovative spirit” would further deepen internal cohesion within the APC, strengthen grassroots structures, and improve organisational effectiveness ahead of future elections.
The senator noted that the visit would be an opportunity to build stronger collaboration among party stakeholders in Oyo State, describing the state as the historic home of the Oyo Empire and calling it the “Pace Setter State.”
Akintunde extended a “warm welcome” to the national chairman and wished him a fruitful and memorable stay in the state.
