The Transition !! Thursday Gist With IyanulOluwa Ololade.
According to the “English Encarta”, transition is the process or period in which something or someone undergoes a change and passes from one state, stage, form, or activity to another. In most cases, we always conclude that anyone who does not give us as much as the attention we expect does not deserve us. At other times, we conclude that we have been ghosted whenever anyone stops reaching out to us like they used to do. Apart from the fact that certain unforeseen circumstances might have conditioned such individuals to change their approach towards us, another reason that might have made them drift is what I call end of transition.
A transition person is that one that comes into a relationship with us at our transition period. We all have a transition period, that period when we are going towards the end of a phase to begin another phase of life or even that confused and clumsy period of our lives when we desperately need answers or help.
It can be in our academics, career, finance, marriage, politics, business; primary and secondary needs, a relocation, a social issue or even a habit related issue. In most cases, we may not even be able to explain how we became intimate with such transition person(s). Often when we are going through transition, we attract that one who will help us go through the experiences associated with transition.
Though, we may feel pained and neglected after the transition person has left us, be rest assured that the transition person will always leave us better and at ease than we were when we first met them. The transition fellow would have assisted us go through our transition with ease. In most cases, relationship with a transition person does not usually last up to two (2) years. So, before you crucify that one that left you hanging, understand the roles they had played in your life and move on positively.
