TRIBUTE: Ibadan S/E-I APC flagbearer, Wasiu Hamzat, bids farewell to Prof Isiaka Kolawole
Honourable Wasiu Olanrewaju Hamzat, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Ibadan Southeast Constituency—I in the next year’s general elections, has bid farewell to former Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Professor Isiaka Kolawole.
Hamzat described Kolawole as a respected community leader from Ward 11 of Ibadan South East Local Government and a committed member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
Hamzat’s message of tribute reads in part, “Today, I say goodbye to a remarkable leader, mentor and voice of the voiceless.
Alh. (Prof.) Isiaka Kolawole, you carried the heavy weight of leadership with unmatched grace, humility and courage.
You always put the party and community first and believed deeply in a brighter future for us all.
We are profoundly grateful for your selfless service and the lives you have touched along the way. Rest in honour of the leader in the Ibadan South-East Local Government and Oyo State at large.
May Almighty Allah grant you Al-jannat Firdaous (Amin).
