Speaking on Africa’s economic future, economist Prof. Jeffrey Sachs urged African leaders to accelerate continental integration through the African Union, arguing that Africa’s 55 nations would be stronger as a single economic bloc.

Sachs also called for greater investment in education and encouraged African governments to study China’s development model as they prepare for rapid population growth.
