Few of them, Mr. Sikiru Atere, Mr. Mukaila Akanji, Mr. Luqman Lanlehin, Leader Nureni and Mr Yinka Jaiyeoba condemned, unequivocally, the politics of exclusion and discrimination being played by some leaders of the party in the local government and charged them to return to the fold without further delay.

The group criticised those members who are planning to defect to the rival political party and enjoined them to shun the idea. They decried the fallouts from the recently concluded party’s primaries as discouraging and marred with sharp practices and allied shenanigans.

The leaders of the group urged the members of the public to align with the good plans of the APC-led Federal Government to improve their welfare and banish poverty from the land. They cited as example the appointment of notable and prominent Yoruba sons and daughters to manage juicy positions under the PBAT-led government as evidence of his commitment to better our lots in the South-West geo-political zone of Nigeria.

They knocked the GSM-led administration as fraudulent, corrupt and totally inapt to the yearnings and aspirations of the citizens. The group noted that the GSM’s confrontational stance against several Federal Government’s welfare policies is drawing the state backwards in terms of physical growth and development.
