2027: Pacesetter Peace Team Congratulates Alli, Akintunde, Oseni, Ogunesan, Others over Collection of Oyo APC Candidates’ Certificates of Nomination

The leadership of the Pacesetter Peace Team (PPT) under the chairmanship of Barrister Ademola Adeniji has congratulated Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the Oyo APC gubernatorial candidate; Senator Yunus Akintunde, the Oyo Central APC Senatorial Candidate; Engr Aderemi Oseni, the Oyo South APC Senatorial Candidate; Chief (Mrs) Hannah Olawumi Ogunesan, MFR, the Oyo North Senatorial Candidate; and other flagbearers of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

All standardbearers of Oyo APC have, today, received their certificates of nomination at the APC State Secretariat, during an event which was conducted by the party to formally unveil its candidates for the 2027 general elections. Concurrently, the party also formally launched its campaign activities for the 2027 general elections.

The candidates unveiled include the party’s candidates for the governorship, Senate, House of Representatives and Oyo State House of Assembly. The development comes shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) published the names of candidates submitted by APC and other parties for the various elective positions ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a congratulatory message issued today by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the PPT and former PRO of the progressive party in the state, Hon. Dauda Kolawole, the group commended the significant progress in efforts geared towards reconciling members who were dissatisfied with the outcome of the party’s recent primaries.

PPT lauded the APC leadership under the chairmanship of Chief (Dr) Moses Alake-Adeyemo for working relentlessly to resolve grievances arising from the primary elections before commencing its campaign for 2027.

PPT hailed the reconciliation committees tasked with engaging dissatisfied members, resolving their complaints and securing their continued support for the APC ahead of the general elections.

As Oyo APC commences its electoral campaign, PPT saluted the party leadership for consolidating its structure and presenting a united front ahead of the 2027 elections.
