Alhaji Audu Marafan Congratulates Sen Sharafadeen Alli over Emergence as APC Governorship Candidate, President Tinubu’s Endorsement

Alhaji Audu Lawal Marafan, a prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, has congratulated Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli following his emergence as the party’s governorship candidate in the state.

In a statement, Marafan expressed “immense joy” and described the outcome as a testament to the confidence APC leadership and the people of Oyo State have placed in Alli.

Marafan said the victory is “well deserved,” adding that the emergence and subsequent endorsement by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu reflect Alli’s credibility, competence, and suitability for the role.

Marafan praised Senator Alli’s years of public service, noting that his track record has positively impacted multiple sectors—particularly human capital development, the strengthening of institutions, and the continued improvement of public service delivery.

“Senator Sharafadeen Alli is tested and trusted,” Marafan said, describing him as a seasoned administrator and charismatic leader committed to development. He said Alli’s leadership qualities, wisdom, and administrative abilities have earned him the admiration of stakeholders and the broader public.

The APC chieftain said the support being enjoyed by Alli ahead of the election is a clear reflection of the electorate’s belief in his capacity to deliver purposeful, people-oriented governance in Oyo State.

Marafan also reaffirmed his commitment, on behalf of the people of Oyo State, to back Alli through the electioneering period. He urged APC members and supporters to remain united and provide the necessary cooperation to ensure electoral victory.

Marafan further thanked President Tinubu, party leadership, and the people of Oyo State for their steadfast support during the primary process, calling on them to continue rallying behind Alli as the campaign advances.

“Congratulations once again, Sen. Sharafadeen Alli,” Marafan stated. “May this new chapter bring greater opportunities for impactful service, progress, and prosperity for the people of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole”, he prayed.
