Ex-Sakiwest LG Boss, Dr Akano Hosts ‘Ifedapo Federal Constituency’ Former Councilors Forum, Rallies APC Unity for Landslide Victory in 2027

July 22nd 2026 was remarkably graced with encouragement from the former Executive Chairman of Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State, Honourable (Dr) Nathaniel Idowu Akano to the former grassroots parliamentarians in the Old Ifedapo Federal Constituency.

The former councillors of the Old Ifedapo Federal Constituency consisting of Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo, met at the APC secretariat Isalę Taba in Saki West Local Government to chart the way forward for the party’s electoral success in the forthcoming 2027 elections.

In his speech, Hon Akano encouraged them to stay in unity and make it paramount that all candidates presented by the party win the elections in the formula of 5-0.

While emphasising the strength and essence of the grassroots, Dr Akano reminded the honorables that President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would not undermine the grassroots being a true democrat and sound progressive leader.

Dr Akano further stated that winning Oyo State is of importance as well as the second term for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“In both local governments, state and federal levels and that of our great and wonderful leader, President and Commander in Chief, Asiwaju Bola Aimed Tinubu, there must be triumphant outcome in 2027 by the Grace of God.

Dr Akano also encouraged the former local council lawmakers to mobilise their local governments and that each ward must deliver to make sure that all candidates presented by the party succeed.

Responding, the Forum Chairman, Alhaji Wahab from Saki East assured Dr Akano and the APC at large that success shall surely be achieved.

Also, responding on behalf of the hosting Councilors, Hon Ashamu Yunus Ojo did not mince words to assure that the Ifedapo federal constituency shall deliver and make a successful outing come 2027.

In his closing prayer Hon Robbert Ogungbenro from Atisbo assured that the APC shall be the winning party in all the elections.
