Hijrah 1448 AH: Sharafadeen Alli, Yunus Akintunde, Sina Alabi, other dignitaries observe special prayer for Tinubu, Oyo State
The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Sen. Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli has joined eminent personalities, religious leaders, and faithful at the Annual 1448 AH (2026) Hijrah Celebration and Special Prayer Session held for President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the peace, unity, and continued progress of Oyo State.
Chief Dotun Sanusi Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, hosted the event, which took place at the Ilaji Resort Ultra-Modern Mini Stadium, Ibadan.
According to statement issued by BSA Voice Of Reason Coordinator, Elder David Oluokun, the gathering featured prayers for divine guidance, enduring peace, national prosperity, and visionary leadership as the Islamic New Year inspires renewed hope, unity, and commitment to the development of Nigeria and Oyo State.
Sen. Alli’s presence at the event further reflects his dedication to promoting religious harmony.
In a message on the occasion, Senator Alli restated commitment to supporting community-based initiatives, and identifying with programmes that foster peace, unity, and sustainable development across Oyo State.
Also in attendance were Alhaji MKO Olaoye, Hon. Sakiru Fagbemi, Hon. Hon. Akin Alli, Hon. MKO Abogun, Hon. Umar-Farouk Arisekola, Hon. Ademola Solalu and several others.
