‘Ibadan SW & NW 2027′:”By His Grace, I’m the Next Federal Rep—Ex‑Council Boss,’TITAO’, Confident of Victory
Honourable Taoreed Bolaji Adeleke (TITAO), former chairman of Ibadan Southwest Local Government and a frontline aspirant for the Ibadan Southwest/Ibadan Northwest Federal Constituency, come 2027, has assured party members of pro‑people leadership and quality representation if given the mandate.
Speaking on the sidelines of the recently concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention in Abuja, Adeleke praised Oyo APC leadership under the watch of Chief Moses Alake‑Adeyemo and urged stakeholders to prioritise loyalty, commitment, proven record, experience and competence when choosing candidates at all levels.
Adeleke also rallied support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration and called on citizens to give Mr. President massive votes in 2027 so the federal government under His Excellency’s helmsmahip can continue repositioning Nigeria and lead the country toward greater prosperity and progress.
A long‑standing party official, Adeleke served as Progressive Party vice chairman in 2010 and was caretaker chairman of Ibadan Southwest Local Government from 2011 to 2015. During that period he also led the Ibadan Local Government Property Company Ltd, a joint venture of 11 Ibadan local governments.
Adeleke later served on the governing council of The Oke‑Ogun Polytechnic (TOPS) from 2016 to 2018 and was Executive Chairman of Ibadan Southwest Local Government between 2018 and 2019.
Academically, Adeleke is an achiever. He attended Islamic High School, Orita Basorun, before earning a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from the University of Ibadan in 1992 and a Master’s in Communication Arts from the same institution in 2007.
In business, Adeleke is a magnate, he is Chairman and CEO of Travan Milano Hotel & Suites and Chairman of Bojadek Nigeria Ltd and Silverstone Publishing Nigeria Ltd, located at Mokola in Ibadan.
Adeleke’s record as local government chairman highlights his focus on community welfare. His administration implemented empowerment programmes, constructed and rehabilitated several roads, upgraded many health centres and supplied medications, built neighbourhood markets, provided toilets and boreholes to major markets, rehabilitated motor parks, and distributed exercise books and writing materials to students across the local government, and rendered other dividends of democracy to the indigenes and citizens of his local council.
