ORIIRE: Oyo FCC Boss, Aleshinloye Salutes Tinubu, Security Agencies over Kidnap Victims’ Rescue

The Federal Character Commissioner (FCC) representing Oyo State, Prince Ayodeji Abass-Aleshinloye, MDII, has praised the resilience, commitment, and decisive actions taken by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the abduction of the teachers and students in Orire Local Government Area.

In a statement released through his media aide, Oladiipo Adegoke, Prince Aleshinloye commended Mr President for providing the necessary leadership and support that led to the successful rescue operation. He also lauded the gallant efforts of the security agencies for rescuing the victims alive and arresting some of the suspected kidnappers.

According to him, the operation is a significant victory for the nation’s security architecture under the Renewed Hope Administration.

The commissioner also acknowledged the Oyo State government for its collaboration with the federal government and security agencies, which contributed significantly to the successful rescue of the abducted teachers and students. He commended the seamless coordination among all stakeholders, describing it as a clear demonstration that unity, cooperation, and decisive leadership are essential in tackling insecurity and safeguarding the lives of Nigerians.

The former ALGON chairman in Oyo State urged the security agencies not to relent in their efforts until criminal activities, particularly kidnapping and other violent crimes, are reduced to the barest minimum across the country. He emphasised that sustained intelligence gathering, collaboration among security agencies, and community support remain essential in winning the fight against insecurity.

The former Oluyole local government chairman congratulated the families of the rescued teachers and students on their safe return and expressed gratitude that the victims were reunited with their loved ones.

Aleshinloye extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the teacher and security personnel who lost their lives during the victims’ captivity. He prayed that Almighty God would grant the deceased eternal rest, comfort their loved ones, and give them the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Aleshinloye also called on Nigerians to remain security conscious, stay vigilant, and promptly report suspicious movements or activities to the appropriate authorities.

The Deputy National Chairman NALGON EMERITUS prayed that Almighty God would continue to protect Nigeria and her people and such unfortunate incidents would never occur again in any part of the country (Amen).
