Oyo 2027: Senator Alli, Running Mate, Others Attend Alao-akala Transformation Movement’s Official Launch
The political atmosphere in Ogbomoso was electric as Oyo APC demonstrated unity and purpose at the Official Launching of the Alao-akala Transformation Movement (ATM).
The event hosted by Chief (Mrs) Kemi Alao-Akala, former First Lady of Oyo State, brought together the biggest names in Oyo APC under one roof.
Leading the APC delegation was the Oyo APC Governorship Candidate, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli and his Running Mate, Honourable Adesoji Michael Adedeji.
According to a statement issued by the BSA Voice Of Reason media coordinator, David Oluokun, issued after the programme, the presence of the bigwigs at the event sent a clear message ahead of the 2027 election.
Speaking on the occasion, senator Alli
described Otunba Alao-Akala as “a builder of men, a bridge between generations, and the father of modern Ogbomoso politics.
Hon. Adedeji also pledged that the BSA/Adedeji ticket will consolidate on the developmental template laid by the late Governor.
In her address, Chief (Mrs) Kemi Alao-Akala, said “My husband’s dream was a prosperous Oyo State, ATM will ensure that his dream lives on through APC and Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli BSA.”
Among the dignitaries present at the occasion were representatives of the Soun of Ogbomoso; Oyo APC Party Chairman and his executives; Veteran Leader and Political Icon, Senator Ayo Adeseun; Senator Fatai Buhari, Senator representing Oyo North; Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle; Chief Niyi Akintola who represented the chief justice of the federation Lateef Fagbemi ( SAN); Honourable Shina Alabi; and
Other party leaders, stakeholders, youths and women groups from across the 33 LGAs.
