Oyo Central: Senator Akintunde Champions 2nd-Term Bid, Showcasing Projects, Legislative Scorecards

Senator Yunus Akintunde, who represents Oyo Central Senatorial District and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the district has made a case for a second term, presenting his record of legislative work and constituency interventions during an appearance on State Conversation on Omoluabi Radio 87.7FM.

Speaking with host Olatunde Amusat, Akintunde discussed his contributions in the Red Chambers and outlined projects he said he had supported across the district. He urged listeners to verify his record, citing classroom construction and renovation, road projects, solar-powered boreholes and other interventions.

The senator also said gaps in local government service delivery had made it necessary for him to intervene in communities across Oyo Central. As an example, he said the Oleyo Road intervention in Oluyole Federal Constituency was approved and converted to a federal road following a request he personally wrote to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The discussion offered Akintunde an opportunity to present his achievements and aspirations as he seeks another term in office.

As the senator makes his case for re-election, his scorecard, good record and widespread acceptance project him far ahead of other contestants.
