Oyo Central Senatorial Aspirant, Hon Bimbo Kolade Pays Tribute to Pa Sunday Adejare Elegbede

Hon. Bimbo Kolade, Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC) and aspirant for Oyo Central Senatorial seat, has extended heartfelt condolences to the progressive family in Oyo West Local Government and throughout Oyo State on the death of Pa Sunday Adejare Elegbede.
In a statement released to the press, Kolade remembered Pa Elegbede as a steadfast progressive whose life was dedicated to strengthening the party at the grassroots and beyond. He described the late elder statesman as a man of integrity whose service and contributions to the community will endure.
Recalling their personal connection, Kolade said Pa Elegbede was more than a political leader — he was a fatherly figure and a trusted source of guidance. “I received the news of Baba Sunday Adejare Elegbede’s passing with deep sorrow,” Kolade said. “Though, Baba Elegbede is from Opapa in Oyo west but we have been associates since 2005 and he was part of the elders supporting my aspiration to represent Oyo Central Federal Constituency. He was a committed progressive and a man of integrity whose contributions to our great party and community will not be forgotten.

Kolade added that Pa Elegbede’s example of discipline, humility, and steadfast commitment to progressive ideals will continue to inspire current and future party members. He urged supporters to take solace in the values and legacy the late leader leaves behind, and prayed for comfort for the bereaved.

“May Almighty God grant him eternal rest and give his family and all of us the strength to bear this great loss,” Kolade submitted.
