PHOTOS: Nigeria’s Ambassador Ajimobi Meets Consul General in New York on UNGA Sidelines
On the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria and former First Lady of Oyo State, Amb. (Dr) Florence Ajimobi, met with Ambassador Abubakar Jidda, the Consul General of Nigeria in New York.
The meeting provided an opportunity for a constructive exchange on matters of mutual interest, with both diplomats highlighting the importance of continued cooperation between their respective missions. They discussed ways to further advance Nigeria’s foreign policy priorities and protect national interests.
Ambassador Ajimobi also met members of the Consulate team. Expressing optimism about future engagement, the former First Lady said she looked forward to strengthening collaboration between Nigeria’s missions as they work to promote Nigeria’s interests and support citizens abroad.
