2027: Ex-Sakiwest LG Chairman, Hon Akano Meets Ward Elders in Saki, Urges Supports for All Candidates
According to Dr Nathaniel Idowu Akano, a former Executive Chairman of Saki West Local Government Area of Oyo State, following recent developments in the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the State and Saki West in particular, it has become pertinent to calm the nerves of party faithfuls.
Dr Akano stated that this necessity culminated swinging into action to meet elders in his ward 10 of the local government.
“The elders were drawn from each mini-wards. The elders had been greatly concerned about several disturbing situations among party faithfuls resulting from the several categories of congresses’ fall out.
In his speech, Dr Akano encouraged the party stalwarts to remain steadfast. He also charged them to stay firmly behind all successful candidates as presented by the party through the primaries’ outcomes.
Dr Akano particularly emphasised that the usual slogan of 5-0 triumphant winning strategy from the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, senate, governorship and Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu’s successes should be of paramount value.
Responding, the Chairman of the ward’s elders forum, Alhaji Sikiru Togun assured Hon Akano of maximum cooperation.
