Democracy Day: Dr Florence Ajimobi Celebrates Democrats, Calls for United, Prosperous Nigeria

As Nigeria marks Democracy Day, Chief (Dr.) Florence Ajimobi, a former First Lady in Oyo State and Nigeria’s ambassador to Austria, has used the occasion to honour citizens and leaders who worked tirelessly to uphold democratic values in the country.

In her message to Nigerians, Dr. Ajimobi described Democracy Day as a time to recognise the sacrifices of those who stood for democratic ideals, emphasising that the nation must continue to strengthen its democratic institutions and foster unity across all communities.
“We honour the sacrifices of those who stood for democratic ideals and reaffirm our collective commitment to building a stronger, more united, and prosperous nation,” she said.

Dr. Ajimobi further called on Nigerians to remain committed to the progress and stability of the country, noting that democracy is sustained through collective participation, shared responsibility, and continued faith in the future.

“Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria”, Ajimobi greeted.
