Hon Adesoji Adedeji ‘SOJ’ Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir, Urges Unity, Peaceful Coexistence
Honourable Adesoji Adedeji Michael (SOJ), an influential chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State and a 2023 House of Representatives candidate for the Ogo Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency, has extended warm Eid-el-Kabir greetings to Muslims in Oyo State, across Nigeria and around the world.
In a statement released today, the renowned philanthropist, Hon. Adedeji thanked God for granting the faithful the grace to witness this year’s Eid-el-Kabir. He prayed for acceptance of their Eid-el-Adha and urged believers to carry the spirit of the selflessness and piety of Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail into everyday life.
“Our observance of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir should not end with the festive activities only,” SOJ said. “Daily prayer, acts of charity, selflessness, piety and personal discipline must continue so we can reflect God’s love through good character and service to others.”
Adedeji also encouraged and urged unity and peaceful coexistence in Oyo APC, Oyo State and across the country. “In unity lie the strengths,” he stated.
Adedeji charged people on ongoing support for the less privileged, describing sustained generosity as essential for community harmony and national unity. “Kindness to all, regardless of social standing, is fundamental to lasting peace and security,” he added.
Hon. Adedeji wished all Muslims a joyful Eid-el-Kabir and prayed that their devotion and sacrifice be rewarded with wellbeing in this life and the hereafter.
