Renewed Hope Agenda Ambassador, ‘AGBA-DEMO’ Lauds Tinubu, Mobilises Supports for President’s Reelection, Alli’s Guber Bid, Other APC Candidates

Ogbomoso North Renewed Hope Ambassador, Oloye Ademola Olawale popularly known as AgbaDemo has commended President Bola Tinubu on his efforts in stabilizing the economy of the country.

While featuring on a radio interview, Pepe Oro, on Brave 91.3 FM Ogbomoso, which was anchored by Adedamola Adebayo Atewogbareaje on Wednesday, August 5, Agba Demo hailed Tinubu as a blessing to Nigeria.

Agba-Demo noted that “prior to the emergence of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration, things were not easy in the country, the economy was in a mess, we’re using revenue to service debt, and the exchange rate was staggering. These became a threat to investment, and the president took an all-important action by removing subsidies so that the money would be spent on developmental projects. Mr President also harmonised foreign exchange.

President Tinubu tax reform propagated by Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), under the leadership of Dr. Zacch Adedeji has tremendously filled loopholes in the economy and it has started strengthening our economy. This reform has instilled confidence in the minds of the foreign investors to establish businesses in the country.

With these the price of PMS is reducing and it will also be like the telecommunication sector where we purchase a sim card at the rate of 30,000 Naira but the price of the SIM card has reduced drastically. The marketers refused to reduce the price of the PMS despite a ceasefire from Iran, the United States, and Israel,” he emphasised.

Agba-Demo continued, “Nigeria is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. Since the removal of subsidy, the state government is not owing salaries anymore; they have enough resources to embark on gigantic projects. The governors were the ones that didn’t release enough funds to the local government. Seyi Makinde does not believe in local government, and it is causing more harm to grassroots development. Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa Local Government ought to have been receiving more than 500 million Naira as a monthly allocation, but the reverse is the case. The past administration in the state was releasing allocations to local government areas.

“During my tenure as the Vice Chairman, Ogbomoso South LCDA, our administration constructed House to House Road, Danjuma Bread to Aina Guest House (Isale General Road), Atika Street Road and others.

On Tinubu’s policies, Agba Demo said,”Renewed Hope agenda has engendered several pro-people initiatives like Students loan, and ASUU Strike has been surmounted. Deregulation has also allowed the free market to strengthen our economy.

The grassroots politician continued, “What has been falling apart since the last 40 years cannot be in good shape at once. The Federal Government has performed tremendously in the agriculture sector. Agriculture imports are enjoying friendly taxation. Minimum wage has been increased by this administration. The welfare of our military men has been improved,” he commended.

“We have a United APC in the state, and the party has an internal mechanism that aids its conflict resolution. Senator Sharafadeen Alli and Hon. Adesoji Adedeji are the party governorship candidate and deputy governorship candidate of our great party in Oyo State. A reconciliation committee has been set up by the leadership of the party, and the committee is reaching out to the aggrieved. Those that did not get the ticket will be taken care of.

Extolling Hon. Adesoji Adedeji, Agba Demo said,”Alli’s running mate, Soji Adedeji is a humble personality, very intelligent, and highly reserved. He is very competent to be the Deputy Governor of the state. His nomination is a blessing to Ogbomoso land and Oyo State.

Commending Dr Zacch Adedeji and Dr Sunday Akin-Dare, Agba Demo stated that,”Under the Renewed Hope Agenda, Ogbomoso land is benefiting from the initiatives and projects of Mr. President. For instance, the construction of Oyo-Ogbomoso Road was abandoned due to lack of finances. Dr Zacch Adedeji and Dr Sunday Dare used their influences to ensure that there is financial provision for the completion of the road project. Construction of a concrete road from Iwo-ate to Awe has also been awarded.

During his visitation to the president, the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Gandhi has encouraged the president to construct the road from Arikikin – Gambari to Eyenkorin, Caretaker – Ilajue, Oko to Ilobu in Osun State and others”, Agba-Demo hinted.

“So, with all I have mentioned, we have all seen that APC is a blessing to Nigeria and Oyo State in particular. Of course, a journey of ten million miles begins with a step. But the journey is that APC administration has saved safe Nigeria from the brink of collapse.

Agba-Demo hailed Tinubu and mobilised support for Mr President’s reelection bid.  He also canvassed support for Senator Sharafadeen Alli’s gubernatorial bid and rallied people behind other APC standardbearer ahead of the next year 2027 general elections.
